Angela's first race was a rough one! The weather did not cooperate. It rained heavily just before qualifying. Luckily, with Eastern Washington weather, the wind kicked in and dried out the track. An hour later, qualifying started. On Angela's first qualifying lap, she spun out taking the second lap more cautiously; dealing with a loose car she positioned herself in the 21st spot at the start of the race.
Angela fought a very loose race car all night. She found the Nu-Tread Tire difficult to get used to. The crew also discovered a power steering problem after qualifying, which was corrected by race time. Angela finished 16th after 75 laps of racing, bring the car home in one piece.
