Amber qualified the #35 car in 12th position with her best qualifying time at Yakima Speedway with a 19.494, 4/10th's off the pole position.
Angela qualified her #30 car in 22nd position with a 19.790, 7/10th's off pole time.
The 100 lap race started with a field of 25 cars and a four car invert. On the start, Angela made a quick pass moving her up one position. Lap 6, Angela in the #30 car makes contact with another car, putting her down one lap. Angela's car is loose, lap 9 she goes into pits, crew makes adjustment; car feels better.
Lap 28, the #35 car has moved up to 8th position. Caution on lap 31, Angela glides (avoids) crash, nice driving Angela! #35 car is in 7th and #30 car is in 14th. Angela, driving aggressively, is picking off the contenders and making her way up through the field. Angela radios in car feels good.
Amber moves into 5th position by lap 70. Driving aggressively and bumper to bumper, Amber rides the bumper of the #37 car of Mike Longton, in turn 3, as they are putting pressure on the car in front of them, Longton spins taking Amber with him. Amber is quick to recover and moves into 4th position. On lap 92, Amber has difficultly seeing over a crimped up nose, hits the apron and spins around. She's quick to turn her around, but puts her down into 8th position.
The race finishes up with Amber finishing in 7th and Angela with a 9th place
